Amelia is a fashion designer and Emily is a textile designer. We met on the first day of college at Cornell University, and since then Amelia created an embroidered fashion collection sold all around the world, while Emily launched a line of hand-printed naturally-dyed textiles. We brought our visions together to create Wildflower Delivery Co. We have found so much joy, self-expression, and satisfaction wearing the garments we’ve designed and made ourselves. We want to share the experience of making in an accessible for everyone.
Over the years, so many of our friends have expressed interest in making their own clothes or having a creative hobby, but didn’t know where to begin. With Wildflower Delivery Co. we want to demystify sewing with intuitive projects that are stylish and fun to wear. We are all about promoting skill-building and self-reliance, fostering a community of like-minded makers, and encouraging a slower, more thoughtful approach to your wardrobe.
We design all of the fabrics or our kits ourselves based on plants and flowers we collect and photograph in the natural world. Each print is hand-painted and layered to create visually rich textiles designs that are digitally printed on high quality natural fabrics. We pair these original prints with garment patterns we designed to be versatile wardrobe staples to create one-of-a-kind looks.
Our hope for Wildflower Delivery Co. is that it inspires both new and veteran sewers to delight in the process of making and cherish their creations!
